Sara Magno holds a degree in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Coimbra, where she also continued her academic path by pursuing a Master’s in Psychology at the same institution.

As a scholar of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s New Talents programme, her research focused on exploring the use of virtual reality to induce altered states of consciousness, comparable to psychedelic experiences.
