Gonçalo Jorge holds a degree in Philosophy from the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon and continued his academic education with a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences – Strategic Communication, from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences.

As a scholar of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s New Talents program, he conducted research focused on the phenomenon of fake news, exploring methodologies for its analysis and understanding within a contemporary context marked by the proliferation of disinformation.
