Fellows’ Stories

Diogo Rouqueiro admits that he once felt little connection to Portuguese as a subject. But through authors such as José Saramago and Fernando Pessoa, he rediscovered the joy of reading and writing, especially poetry.

In his presentation, inspired by the book he plans to publish under the same title, A Moment in a Poem, he reflects on the importance of finding beauty in every moment of life.

Blending memories, reflections, and verses, Diogo invites us to see writing not just as a literary exercise, but as a way of reading, and rereading, our own lives.
