Research Groups

400 people, in 27 Groups, 10 Scientific Support Units, and 12 Services develop their work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, focused on solving tomorrow's challenges.

The Research Groups, which comprise scientists from 45 nationalities, study the organism ranging from how it is formed to how it interacts with the environment and can be affected by it. Research is developed in an environment of intellectual and financial autonomy, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and services available to all.
