Clues, riddles and a lot of science are the perfect formula for an activity that you can do at home, alone or with your family
Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência celebrates science in an online format, launching a virtual challenge to participants with clues, mystery and a lot of science. It is just that something mysterious is happening at IGC … Someone left an enigmatic letter to director Mónica Bettencourt Dias with the signature “Scientist X” and spread clues throughout the institute. Who is this Scientist? And why is s/he doing this?
In each laboratory the visitor is put to the test to solve scientific enigmas and can only move on to the next room if he finds the solution. Venture out on this virtual tour, alone or with your family, to find out more about the day-to-day life of scientists, or about the initiatives we have developed to address COVID-19.
The virtual tour is interactive, and uses 360-degree technology, allowing the visitor to explore the surroundings. If you use a mobile device, you only need to move the device sideways to picture the surroundings. If you have a computer, use the mouse to move the image. The tour will be available mainly in Portuguese.
