Location
Lower Gallery Calouste Gulbenkian FoundationIn an intimate gesture of listening, each conversation seeks to spark reflections on what deserves to be repaired – in personal stories, in the world around us, in the relationships that connect us. With consent, the dialogues are recorded on audio.
The sound recordings make up an audio piece available in the exhibition space. The action consists of a collection of thoughts, memories and desires for transformation, creating a collective archive of perceptions – a poetic exercise that prolongs the exhibition experience, questioning the ties between Brazil and Portugal through active listening and dialogue about what still needs to be repaired.
This event is part of the complementary programme for the exhibition complexo brasil, curated by José Miguel Wisnik, Guilherme Wisnik and Milena Britto.
Inside the exhibition, in the hammock area located in the Lower Gallery, you can hear the audio resulting from the performance on the first hammock.
