The three winners of SLAM no CAM, which will take place on 24 January, are back in the Foundation, this time in the galleries of the complexo brasil exhibition, to present, next to the works that inspired them, the poems conceived at the end of the competition.

Under the guidance of Maria Giulia Pinheiro (FALA), the visit becomes a sensory and reflective journey, in which the works gain new meaning  through the poetic and performative voice of poetry slam artists.

In this journey, oral tradition meets visual art, and the audience is invited to listen to the dialogue between the arts, emotions and stories that span Brazil and Portugal.

Poetry in the Gallery offers a lively and creative mediation experience, in which the words of the poets participating in SLAM at CAM become a guide.

This event is part of the complementary programme for the exhibition complexo brasil, curated by José Miguel Wisnik, Guilherme Wisnik and Milena Britto.
