Os cursos são organizados e ministrados por cientistas do IGC com a ajuda de colegas convidados das melhores universidades e institutos de investigação de todo o mundo. Cerca de uma centena de cientistas integram o corpo docente do IBB que trabalha com os alunos ao longo do curso. O corpo docente expõe os alunos à diversidade de pontos de vista científicos e permite que cada um inicie uma rede nacional e internacional.
