With roots in the islands of São Nicolau and Santiago, Yeri and Yeni grew up in the area of the Linha de Sintra railway line. Thanks to this cultural diversity – between Sintra and Cape Verde – the duo developed a taste for a blend of Cape Verdean, Portuguese, Angolan, Brazilian, Senegalese and North American musical influences as well as from R&B, Soul, Funk, Pop, Zouk, Kizomba, Afro-beat and Jazz.
