Cape Verdean Jorge Almeida began his career as a guitarist on the islands of São Vicente, Boa Vista and Santiago, but it was in Portugal that he established himself. Fatu Djakité, Jay Moreira, Alberto Koenig, Elida Almeida, Ana Moura and Dino d’Santiago are only some of the artists with whom he has collaborated, there and here, live and in studio. In this concert he will be joined by a String trio.
