Born in São Tomé, Sílvia Barros has lived in Portugal since the age of 5. She started writing songs early on, revealing a strong inclination towards the arts – music, theatre, dance and writing. While Barros released her first EP Nome in 2019, it was with the project Nua that she found her feet as an artist and established her sound.
