Transgenics: Fly

The Fly Transgenesis and Genome Editing facility is equipped, not only to supply the microinjection service, but also to perform all the steps to generate customized construct cloning, if required, meaning that it offers an all-inclusive service to deliver researchers transgenic lines as well as gene edited flies. Thus, besides regular p-element and Phi31 insertions, the facility is able to perform different lines requests, such as CRISPR gene disruption, reporter knock in and Tag knock in. Fly researchers have at their disposal a solid and personalized service of transgenic and genome edited flies, at low fares, when compared to companies’ services.

Prices for services are detailed in AGENDO, with different prices for internal, external and non-academic users. Please consult with us about the prices of services if necessary.
In the event of a negative result for a particular service, 25% of the total value of the service will be charged.
