Future Scientists

The IGC promotes several initiatives in order to arouse the curiosity of the youngest to the world of science, making the science that is done in the institute and the career opportunities in the scientific area known.

 


Job Shadowing

Programme for 9th grade students and high school students (10th, 11th, and 12th) in which future scientists have the opportunity to spend a day with an IGC scientist.

Visits

The Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência hosts study visits and regularly takes scientists from the institute to schools.

Open Day for Universities

The Open Day for Universities is an event targeted at undergraduate or master students, with the main goal of giving students the opportunity to learn more about the IGC, its research and training programmes, so that they can plan the next steps of their scientific career.
