Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência promoted several initiatives in order to cooperate with international entities, namely from African Portuguese-Speaking Countries (PALOP), with the aim of providing reliable information about COVID-19.

All the content provided was based on scientific information and on WHO’s guidelines and is produced by Science for Development Post-Graduation Programme with the support of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Instituto de Higiene e Medicina Tropical.

The information materials were made available to be shared in digital platforms and to be printed and distributed. Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência has also produced a podcast about the science of Covid-19 and the new coronavirus in collaboration with Cape Verde’s Africa Science Week.
