Considering the evolution of the pandemic in PALOP countries,  Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência gathered a group of scientists in collaboration with Cape Verde’s Africa Science Week  to produce a podcast about the science of Covid-19 and the new coronavirus.

A podcast with plain language and simple concepts that aims to reach everyone, promoting scientific literacy and ensuring that civil community is alert to the measures to adopt in order to stop the disease and the pandemic.

The dissemination of scientific information about the virus and the disease, digested and updated, is increasingly important to assure communities follow prevention guidelines with the intent of protecting the nations from this pandemic.

Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência is pursuing several initiatives in cooperation with international entities, namely from African Portuguese-Speaking Countries (PALOP), with the aim of providing reliable information about Covid-19. Know more about these initiatives here.
