In her first talk in Portugal, Brazilian political philosopher and activist Djamila Ribeiro adressed the fundamental themes of her work, which has already become an undeniable reference in the field of Feminist Studies, Black Feminism, and anti-racist political activism.

Author of Lugar de Fala, Pequeno manual antirracista, and Quem tem medo do Feminismo Negro?, coordinator of the Feminismos Plurais platform, Djamila Ribeiro was considered one of the 100 most influential women in the world by the BBC.

This talk, part of the Gulbenkian Summer Garden programme, curated by Lisboa Criola and Dino D’Santiago, was moderated by actress, director, and presenter Cláudia Semedo.
