Ive Greice

Event Slider

Of Cape Verdean descent, Ive Greice was born in Brasília into a family of musicians, which led her to discover a passion for music at an early age. In Rio de Janeiro, she released songs that became telenovela hits, performed alongside names like Ivan Lins, Jorge Vercillo, and Dudu Falcão, and released Ao Som de Greice Ive (2007), followed by Sem Moldura (2012). In 2017, she moved to Lisbon, where she impressed Madonna with her work.

Ive has captivated audiences with her versatility, her crystalline voice, and her strong and sensual stage presence. Her music, inspired by the cosmopolitanism of the “Nova Lisboa” advocated by artists like Dino D’Santiago (with whom she has collaborated), blends elements of Brazilian, African, and Gypsy music, mixing acoustic sounds with electronic beats. The singles “Cola na Boca” (2021) and “Rota” (2023) anticipate Vira Lata, her upcoming album.
