Location
Open-Air Amphitheatre Gulbenkian GardenLibra is a Portuguese singer, rapper, and songwriter based in Lisbon, whose artistic work resides at the intersection of conscious Rap and R&B. As a mixed-race woman who grew up in a suburb along the Sintra line, she addresses topics such as women’s empowerment, the psychological and social issues of mixed heritage, and the empowerment of black (his)stories.
Simultaneously focused on the socio-political awareness of her listeners, the connection with her ancestry, and the journey of self-discovery that such focus allows, Libra’s musical and performative language defies singular definitions, seeking balance in the mixing of seemingly opposing poles.
