Even when it arises discreetly, the turmoil caused by the wars for African independence has nourished the work of artists born several decades later.

Using memories of the colonial situation in Angola, this documentary reveals the first steps in the fight for liberation and some of its main settings, while seeking to establish a dialogue between the generations that were involved in the struggle and those who were born after 1975.
