Two years after his last performance at the Summer Garden, Berlok is back with a DJ set that mixes urban music funaná, batuku trap and afrobeat.
Known by his fusion of African sounds and electronic and urban influences, the Cape-Verdean DJ and producer Berlok has been strengthening his career, performing in several stages in Portugal and abroad.
Recognised for the energy of his sets and his connection to his cultural roots, Berlok’s work is a celebration of DJ culture and its importance in revitalising and spreading music.
In 2023, he released his first album TERRA TERRA, collaborating with artists such as Dino D’Santiago and Sara Tavares. TRAP TERRA TERRA 2 followed, a project that reflects his essence as a DJ, based on sampling, remix and the reinvention of the Cape-Verdean classics for the dancefloor.
