Sandra Baldé aka Umafricana is back at the Summer Garden with two DJ sets that blend African rhythms with pop music, R&B, Latin influences and contemporary sounds.

DJ, writer and entrepreneur from Guinea-Bissau, born and raised in Portugal, Sandra Baldé grew up influenced by sounds like R&B, American pop music, dancehall, gumbé, zouk and coupé-décalé. She made her debut as a DJ at the Beyoncé Fest, in 2021, and since then she has been exploring different music genres.

She has performed all over the country and on some international stages, including festivals and other important events. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with artists such as Pongo, Soluna, KADY and Bia Ferreira.
