Museums – Open from 10:00 to 18:00 (last admission 17:30). Closed on Tuesdays and the following holidays: January 1st, Easter Sunday, May 1st and December 24th and 25th.

Location

7 minutes by metro from the Baixa-Chiado station and 15 minutes by car from the airport, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation brings together the very best of ancient and modern art in two museums surrounded by a magnificent garden, in which visitors can experience a great sense of tranquillity.

The Foundation is housed in an architectural complex designed in the 1960s, classified as national heritage, which includes, besides the museums, a library, auditoria for conferences and concerts and an open-air amphitheatre.
