Txabeta is an immersive and futuristic multidisciplinary performance, who takes the audience on a hallucinating voyage through the ancestral musical wisdom of Batuku.

Guided by Hevah, the first and last human being, this solo performance constitutes the third chapter in a series of creations that the artist Djam Neguin has termed CVFuturism, which studies the traditional dances and musical genres of Cape Verde from a futuristic perspective.

This show includes the use of strobe lights, which could be a potential seizure trigger for people with photosensitive epilepsy.
