Éric Rohmer voices director Carl Theodor Dreyer in this documentary from the French series ‘Filmmakers of our times’. The session will be introduced by curator Pedro Mexia.

Filmed at Dreyer’s home in Copenhagen, the conversation focuses on the Danish director’s research into movement and editing, highlighting some of the most prominent characteristics of his cinema.

As well as testimonies from the director, the film includes statements from various professionals who worked with Dreyer, including the famous Danish actress Anna Karina, who reads excerpts from texts selected by the filmmaker.
