Managing a career in the Arts
This training program, which will be led by Vanessa Pires, aims to introduce young artists at the beginning of their careers to the theme of artistic career management, providing a set of tools that promote motivation, knowledge acquisition and artistic entrepreneurship.
The program is organised in 4 sessions and includes learning activities and a theoretical context, as well as practical exercises, within a dynamic of group work that involves sharing experiences. This initiative aims to encourage reflection on career management and provide a chance for networking.
Vanessa Pires, cellist and teacher, holds a Master’s degree in Management of Cultural Institutions and Companies by the University of Barcelona and has been a cellist at Casa da Música since its foundation, as well as a teacher of Artistic Career Management at ESMAE.
