A singular portrait of Portugal through the lens of one of the great photographers of the 20th century.

Cartão Gulbenkian Mais holders are invited to a guided tour to the first exhibition in Portugal dedicated to Todd Webb, one of the most important American photographers of the second half of the 20th century.

The exhibition brings together around 60 photographs taken in Portugal in the 1970s and 1980s, recently donated to the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation by the Todd Webb Archive. This body of work reveals a sensitive and perceptive view of the country during a period of transformation. The exhibition also includes two complementary sections featuring key works from Webb’s time in New York and sub-Saharan Africa.

An exclusive opportunity to explore this collection and discover, through a guided tour, the unique perspective of Todd Webb.

Cartão Gulbenkian Mais activities have a limited capacity. If you can’t attend, please cancel your ticket. Enter your MyGulbenkian account, open the “Tickets” section, and click “Cancel”.
