The tour will address the driving forces behind the exhibition's development and the dynamics of this dense network of exchanges, whose existence is due to the various upheavals of the 20th century and the cultural contacts that facilitated and made construction possible based on difference.

The exhibition displays works of art created in the United Kingdom throughout the 20th century, comparing works created by migrant artists, or descendants of migrants – most of whom fled the pogroms and the Nazi regime – with works created by artists of British origin.

In this way, the importance of the cultural exchanges that stemmed from these movements is highlighted, as well as the mirrored relationship between the United Kingdom and France, as well as the movement of artists between the USA and the United Kingdom.
