On this tour, through a selection of reference works, we open space for the reinterpretation of the power dynamics of two generations, with a special focus on the history of women in different geographies, opening up a vast thematic range of reflection on the present.

This exhibition brings together two notable artists: Paula Rego (Lisbon, 1935 – London, 2022) and Adriana Varejão (b. Rio de Janeiro, 1964).

Bringing together around eight dozen works, the exhibition aims to highlight the common lines of work of the artists, where violence is present, both in the political field and in the private sphere.
