In this curator-led tour, Eloy Martínez de la Pera invites the public to explore the invisible dialogues that link the Gulbenkian Collection to the world of fashion.

More than an exhibition, this is an exercise in reading symbols and forms, in which some 100 works from the Museum – from Ancient Egypt to the 20th century – converge with iconic creations by the likes of Dior, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen. Guided by the curator who conceived this aesthetic dialogue, participants will discover how fashion becomes a mirror of the human condition, and how beauty, in its many languages, endures across the ages.
