Music Is the Healing Force of the Universe #4, 2021-2022
The artist presents a new project installed in a shipping container located in the square outside the Fonte Nova Shopping Centre, in Benfica.
At the invitation of the Gulbenkian Foundation’s CAM, the artist Rui Toscano devised an original sculpture for this shipping container, initiating a new narrative context in his work and focusing on the image of a painting of a ceramic piece from Ancient Greece, showing the god Dionysus playing a lyre flanked by two satyrs dancing with castanets in their hands.
