DES/CODIFICAR BELÉM: art and activism in the streets and inside the museum
The Summer School brought together experts to discuss topics such as the impact of Artificial Intelligence on museum work, participatory curatorship, collaborative networks, and the role of museums in constructing and challenging historical identities.
In their presentation, Andreia Coutinho and Maribel Mendes Sobreira (Coletivo FACA) shared the aims and work methods of the active citizenship laboratory DES/CODIFICAR BELÉM, that questions Lisbon’s public space and its colonial heritage through collaborations with young people, artists, and museums. This talk was part of the third panel of the conference, titled Networks and partnerships: the multiplying effect.
