Google Arts & Culture
Explore the Gulbenkian Collections through Google Arts & Culture, a partner of the Museum, and discover a selection of masterpieces.
The Calouste Gulbenkian Museum started this partnership with Google Arts & Culture in 2016, making available some works belonging to the Founder’s Collection. The contents were now updated, and a broader and more diverse selection of pieces from the Founder’s collection is now accessible to the public. Among the new pieces are the painting Palas Athena, by Rembrandt, the sculpture Hermes of Vestal Tucia, by Antonio Canova, and the ‘Cockerel’ diadem, by René Lalique.
The Modern Collection, which was not represented in the platform until this moment, currently includes a set of works by Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso and other artists, such as Dominguez Alvarez, Robert Delaunay and António Carneiro.
Through Google Arts & Culture, the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum also shares some stories that promote dialogues between several works from both Collections.
