The Summer School brought together experts to discuss topics such as the impact of Artificial Intelligence on museum work, participatory curatorship, collaborative networks, and the role of museums in constructing and challenging historical identities.

In their presentation, Vânia Carvalho and Paulo Lameiro introduced Museu na Aldeia, an artistic and social intervention project in which museum professionals, artists, creators, 13 museums and 13 villages came together in a larger network focused on the elderly population in rural and isolated areas. This talk was part of the third panel of the conference, titled Networks and partnerships: the multiplying effect.
