MuseoBot. Artificial processes for natural curatorships
The Summer School brought together experts to discuss topics such as the impact of Artificial Intelligence on museum work, participatory curatorship, collaborative networks, and the role of museums in constructing and challenging historical identities.
In her presentation, Inês Fialho Brandão shared the process of creating the exhibition MuseoBot: museums, democracy and artificial intelligence, which was on display at the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum. This project explored curatorship through AI, and critically examined the accuracy, reliability, and credibility of the information presented by chatbots. This talk was part of the fifth panel of the conference, titled Digital-something: citizenship and knowledge.
