Public consultation on the priorities for the EEA Grants 2014-2021
The EEA Grants are provided over a number of consecutive funding periods, the latest of which – for the period 2014-2021 – has recently been agreed between the European Union and the three donor countries, and an amount of € 2.8 billion will be made available. The content of the agreed 5 priority sectors and 23 programme areas eligible for funding in this period will now be finalised. These are brought together in the draft “Blue Book”, which is the document subject to this public consultation.
This document has been written by specialists based on the EU’s cohesion policy, experience from earlier funding periods of the EEA Grants and input from a number of international organisations and other stakeholders.
The aim of this consultation is to offer an opportunity for stakeholders to take account of the current draft of the “Blue Book” and provide input on elements prior to its final publication. It is hoped that a wide range of stakeholders, either private persons or organisations with experience or interest in the EEA Grants, will choose to participate.

All responses must be submitted in English. The consultation will be open until 8 July.
