The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is a private institution whose main purpose is to improve people’s quality of life through art, charity, science, and education. The Foundation carries out its activities from its headquarters in Lisbon, and from its branches in Paris and London.

The Planning and Strategy Department is looking for an Intern to join the team.

Contractual conditions: Professional Internship Contract

Main Responsibilities

• Support the identification and analysis of budgetary deviations;
• Support the preparation of forecasts, namely by systematizing information and identifying inconsistencies;
• Identify and help correct system errors;
• Provide technical support in preparing the 2025 budget and activity plans;
• Validate the information (both financial and operational) provided by the various departments, and make proposals for improvement;
• Make the necessary adjustments to the system;
• Support the preparation of the Foundation’s management reports;
• Collect, process and review financial and operational information for ad hoc analyses.

Required skills

• Graduate/Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or similar areas;
• No minimum experience required;
• Good grasp of computer tools, namely MS Excel and preferably PowerBI.
