The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is a private institution whose main purpose is to improve people’s quality of life through art, charity, science, and education. The Foundation carries out its activities from its headquarters in Lisbon, and from its branches in Paris and London.

The Marketing, Systems and Digital Transformation Department provides support to the Foundation’s various departments, and operates in the following areas:

  • Brand management;
  • Advertising campaigns and media plans;
  • Content management, social media marketing, and email marketing;
  • Audience development and market research;
  • Business intelligence and advanced analytics.

We are looking for a Marketing Trainee to join the Marketing and Information Systems team, who will benefit from the opportunity of working with a multidisciplinary team and of contributing to the dissemination of the Foundation’s wide range of activities.

Contractual conditions: One year paid internship.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop campaigns in the digital area (social media, email marketing, display), with a view to promoting and disseminating the Foundation’s activities, initiatives, and events;
  • Ensure the adequacy and consistency of dissemination content on digital platforms, ensuring best SEO practices;
  • Participate in the implementation of integrated media plans, both online and offline;
  • Carry out periodical benchmarks, with a view to ensuring alignment with best international practices;
  • Use advanced analytics tools, and support market research initiatives to monitor visitor behaviour and implement improvements;
  • Create management reports and operational dashboards for periodic monitoring of KPIs in the various areas of activity.

Required skills

  • Masters in Business & Management, Marketing, or similar fields;
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and good interpersonal relationship skills;
  • Ability to work in project management and planning;
  • Strong analytical ability;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Portuguese language;
  • Good command of written and spoken English language;
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, PowerBI), and Marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Google Ads) is an asset;
  • Good command of Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
