Based on the children’s book “Who are the Armenians?” (available in Portuguese from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation bookstore), this workshop is led by Maral Kerovpyan, an artist and co-author of the book and by Ana Madureira, an artist and actress. The audience gains the opportunity to discover the language and music of Armenia through games and songs, exploring the Armenian alphabet to learn how to write their names, drawing the captivating bird-letters (letters with wings) as well as learning a particular dance.
