In this workshop, we combine calligraphy, as a form of graphic drawing, and photography, as an interplay of shadow and light, seeking inspiration and examples from the exhibitions of Fernando Lemos and Leonor Antunes. Together, we will creatively explore old photographic techniques of direct printing, playing with the textures, transparencies and opacities of different objects, and seeing how the results of our drawings with light are always altered by our choices.
