The inequality of Leonor Antunes’ days

Event Slider

In conversation with curator Rita Fabiana and artist Leonor Antunes, this visit brings to light the work of an artist whose practice manifests in a reflection on sculpture, architecture, design and material culture in a specific context of relationship with the space and the CAM Collection.

This project is based on research on the works and careers of women artists, decisive figures in the modernist movement made invisible by a history marked by inequalities, and proposes an intervention in the main gallery of the CAM that includes a ‘floor’ sculpture and a series of other sculptures that spread out in the space, creating a multi-sensory and organic experience that transforms the architectural space of the gallery and, necessarily, the visitor’s experience.
