Event Slider

Point of Order! compiles television footage of the 1954 'Army-McCarthy' hearings, in which contradictory accusations between the US Army and Senator McCarthy were investigated.

Director Emile de Antonio had access to more than 180 hours of recordings, which he turned into an hour and a half documentary, with no music, narration or extra footage.

Although McCarthy was acquitted, the hearings resulted in a huge drop in his popularity, to which the media also contributed.
