Don’t miss this opportunity to attend an exclusive rehearsal featuring over 100 young musicians from all the sections of the Orquestra Geração of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area. The next day, they will perform at the Grand Auditorium, conducted by Joana Carneiro.

The concert marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Portuguese composer Joly Braga Santos and celebrates cultural diversity with the repertoire composed under B-Me (Blending melodies: bridging cultural identities), a European co-creation and cultural exchange project that brings together the Portugal, Cyprus and Greece Youth Symphony Orchestra systems.

And just minutes before, you are invited to participate in a brief conversation about this project with Helena Lima, President of the Associação das Orquestras Sinfónicas Juvenis Sistema Portugal; Hugo de Seabra, Project Manager at the Gulbenkian Foundation’s Equity Programme; and Edvânia Moreno, violinist and composer who is a member of the Orquestra Juvenil Geração.

The conversation lasts 30 minutes, followed by a 3-hour rehearsal.
