Born in Luanda, Niiko (or Niikology) is a composer, singer, music producer, designer, artistic director, and writer. From the combination of all these roles emerges a musical encounter between the narrative rapper and the eclectic singer, Neo-Soul and R&B, poetic storytelling and ego-tripping affirmations of positivity. Niiko’s style embraces both the roots of global Hip Hop with an Angolan accent and the sounds closer to Trap and its variations.

As the creator of several hits, Niiko has developed a unique concept of Afro-futuristic lo-fi electronic music, which is showcased through a synergistic blend of styles and approaches, as well as an innovative live production format. Currently, he collaborates with Luzingo and Kenny Caetano.
