The second film of the cycle presents four documentaries directed by journalist Cândida Pinto, that make up the series Neighbours, part of the official Portuguese representation at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale. The documentaries follow four social housing projects conceived by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira in four European cities: the Bouça neighbourhood, in Porto, Schilderswijk, in the Hague, Campo di Marte, in Venice, and ‘Bonjour Tristesse’, in Berlin. The encounters between Siza and the locals allow us to reflect on themes such as the European space, gentrification and emigration.
