This audiovisual installation reflects the participatory project 'Sounds of a Revolution', which involved half a hundred students from Artallis – Conservatório d'Artes de Loures.

Mikhail Karikis (b. Thessaloniki, 1975) is a Greek-British artist who works with moving images, sound, performance and other means of artistic expression, collaborating with various communities.

This audiovisual installation reflects the participatory project ‘Sounds of a Revolution’, which involved half a hundred students from Artallis – Conservatório d’Artes de Loures and culminated in a performance and musical show held in the Foundation’s Grand Auditorium, highlighting the community spirit and dreams for the future of young generations.

This project is a co-production between the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Artallis.
