Brazilian artist Leo Middea wraps up another edition of the Summer Garden with a concert that celebrates the new generation of Brazilian popular music.

Leo Middea was born in Rio de Janeiro but began his career in Buenos Aires at the age of 18. He is known for his sweet voice and his songs, influenced by Brazilian popular music, which get audiences singing in unison, whether solo or in a band format.

He has lived in Portugal for seven years and became the first Brazilian artist to reach the final of the Portuguese Festival da Canção, coming second.

He recently received the Ambassadors Award in the Music category from the Ricky Terezi Culture Association, in recognition of his active and tireless role in promoting Portuguese and Brazilian culture throughout Europe. His fifth album, Gente, reached 1 million streams a month after its release.
