John Williams is undoubtedly the most popular film music composer of the last decades. He started as a pianist and orchestrator for composers such as Alfred Newman or Bernard Herrmann. From the 1970s onwards, he emerged as one of the most skilful and creative musicians of his generation, creating the right soundtracks for some of the greatest hits in the history of cinema. A close collaborator of Steven Spielberg, Williams sails through science fiction, historical drama and adventure movies with great talent and imagination. From the soundtracks for films such as Star Wars, E.T. or Harry Potter, we will witness the huge visual narrative engraved in these works of universal reverberation.
