João Caetano honours and reinvents traditional Portuguese music, incorporating new elements, in a concert that promises to surprise the Grand Auditorium. 

With an international career, musician and artist João Caetano is a member of the legendary British jazz-funk band Incógnito, having collaborated with musicians like Chaka Khan, Mario Biondi, Anastasia, STR4TA, Ala.ni, Leona Lewis, Jessie J, Kansas Smitty’s and Jas Kayser. He has also worked with some of the biggest names in Portuguese music, such as Slow J and Rui Veloso.

As a solo artist, João Caetano seeks to reinvent fado and traditional Portuguese music and instruments, giving them a new guise and incorporating the Lavacolhos bass-drum, the Portuguese guitar and the accordion. He is currently working on a new project, which will include concerts in Portugal, Spain, England and Bulgaria.
