Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Meeting point: Hall
On this tour, Victor Lobão, the engineer responsible for coordinating the major works in progress, will guide us through the Foundation's reserved premises to show us the choices that have been implemented in recent years.

The Gulbenkian Building (Headquarters and Museum) was built in the 1960s using innovative technical solutions, developed in close co-operation between architecture and engineering.

Said technical solutions, equipment and materials are constantly updated as previous ones reach the end of their life or become obsolete. From recycling water to installing solar panels or choosing more efficient lighting, many measures have been duly implemented for permanent improvement.
