The stories of women that surround the works of art displayed in the Gallery of the Middle East are many. However, their voice has rarely been heard and their presence has often been forgotten. The exhibition Women: Navigating between Presence and Absence results from a participatory process held within the context of Feminist Studies. In this visit, – the third and last edition of the Power of the Word project –, Jessica Hallett and Shahd Wadi, reflect on this process, its challenges, and findings.
